Gold is a rare precious metal, which ancient Chinese people considered to have healing power. Gold leaf is gold that has been hammered into thin sheets by goldbeating and is often used for gilding. Gold leaf is also used in Buddhist art to decorate Buddha statues, temples, and architecture. Gold leafing can also be seen on domes in religious and public architecture. The purer the gold is, the shiner and light-reflective it will be more than synthetic gold.

Pure gold was guilded onto more than 10,000 tiles manually and heated under 1,000 celcius degrees for many days until the tiles fully sparkled under the sun.

Then, all 10,000 tiles were manually installed on Peak Nimman Prestige Hotel’s roof.
